so much wasted time

I'm dating myself, but I have fond childhood memories of David Cassidy and the Partridge Family. If you know, you know. 😊

Half of us girls were in love with him and the other half of us just wanted to be part of the Partridge Family. At 67 he died relatively young, and while that is tragic, it's not unusual.

What struck me were his final words to his daughter: "So much wasted time." I wondered how a man who seemed to have it all, feel such a loss on his death bed?

If you have followed me for some time you know I am always encouraging you to stop and examine your life. Are you where you need to be in your relationships, finances, spiritual life, health, personal development? What have you put off until tomorrow, next week or next year?

We always think we have more time...

David Cassidy's daughter said that her father's words will be a 'daily reminder for her to share her gratitude with those she loves so that she never wastes another minute...." His parting words should also inspire us to be better, do better.

What would you would do differently if you knew the exact day you will leave this earth? None of us are privy to this knowledge. My personal philosophy is to live and love each day as if it were my last!

Do you find yourself answering yes to any of these questions?

I want to go back to school

I want to start a business

I want to be a speaker

I want to be an author

I want to be a minister

I want to lose weight

I want to be healthier

I want a better relationship with....

I want....(fill in your own blank)

Tomorrow is not promised to you my friend. If you really desire any of the above in your life, take a step today to make it happen. You don't have to wait another second. There's no time to waste!
